Idiotic

Really. It is.
Basically, there is a situation at college between 3 people. Its got way too out of hand now. What's happened is a guy and his girlfriend broke up recently and he was crushed about it as he thought she was the girl of his dreams and then a few weeks later he finds out she's now going out with his best mate. See where this is going? No?
Well, he gets very angry and threatens to kill the guy etc and gets all their mates onto his side so now the other guy has no friends except the girl and me.
I feel so sorry for him. TBH, in my opinion, I think the loser is the girl's ex for being a total prick about it. He isn't going out with her no more so he needs to get over it. It would have been bad if it was happening WHILST they were dating but it didn't. Urgh it makes me so angry. Specially because all these 3 people are MY friends.
The bit that upsets me loads is he is now at the cinema ALONE as no one is his friend. Myself and his gf couldn't go as the film hes seeing is an 18 and neither of us are 18 yet.
I just want to give him a hug and say....im your friend,
