Emotions. Everyone uses them as it shows us what mood we're in. Happy, sad, angry etc. The list is endless.
This topic really made me think a lot over the last few days, specially at work.
On Thursday, at work, a list was put up in the staff room about which Christmas Temps were able to stay on permanently. Lucky my name was on the list of people who were staying on. But unfortuantly a few people weren't so lucky. Speaking to a few of them after they read the list I realised some didn't actually care as they knew it could happen. We all did, hence the term ''Christmas Temp'' but this word didn't even appear to focus in one girls head. After seeing her name on the ''leaving'' list, burst into tears. For the whole of her shift she'd be seen running up and down the stairs to and from the loos. Her red puffy eyes could be seen from a mile away.
When asking her if she was okay she'd just mumble a yes and run back upstairs to the loos. She was devestated from the news that this list had told her.
I have no idea why she didnt get the job as from observing her myself, and being a friend of hers, she was an ace worker. She never spoke whilst working nor did she distript people and she'd help people if they asked for help. Lets just say she did more then I did haha. I was always chatting whilst working haha! I remember her telling me that if she got kept on she'd save the money so that she could use it for uni, she starts in September.
But anyway, it just shows emotions can affect us at any time, whether its positive or not.
I just hope that the person I was referring to finds another job so she can pay her uni costs. (If your reading this I wish you good luck =])
Well im off now
byeeeee
